2.1 Information You Provide to Us
We collect the information you share when creating an account or using the Platform, including:

- College and hostel details
- Student ID / unique identification code
- Delivery or pickup location (if required by canteens)
- Order history and preferences
- Pre-order details such as selected time slot
- Payment method information (processed by secure PhonePe gateway; NeuMind does not store card/UPI details)
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically receive:
- Device information (model, operating system, unique identifiers)
- IP address and approximate location
- App usage metrics and interaction logs
- Crash logs and performance diagnostics
- Website cookies and activity data (when applicable)
2.3 Notifications & Firebase Data
- FCM tokens used to deliver order updates, "order ready" alerts, and pre-order reminders
- Notification preferences
We never use these tokens for advertising outside essential service notifications.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your account
- Show available canteens based on your college
- Facilitate ordering, payments, pre-orders, and order history
- Send real-time updates and notifications
- Share necessary details with canteens to fulfil your order
- Improve platform performance, reliability, and user experience
- Detect and prevent fraud or misuse
- Comply with legal, accounting, and GST-related obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 Sharing with Canteen Owners (Vendors)
To prepare and fulfil your order, we share only what is necessary:
- Name
- Order ID and order details
- Instructions or preferences
- Pre-order time slot
- Delivery/pickup location
- Contact number (only if required for fulfilment)
Note: Delivery is fully managed by canteen owners—not by NeuMind.
4.2 Sharing with Payment Gateways
We share required transaction data with third-party payment processors. NeuMind does not store card, UPI, or wallet credentials.
4.3 Sharing with Service Providers
We may share limited data with partners who support cloud hosting, analytics, performance measurement, and customer support systems. All third-party partners operate under strict confidentiality obligations.
4.4 Compliance with Law
We may disclose information when required by court orders, regulatory or government requests, GST or tax compliance, or fraud or security investigations.
5. Pre-Order Privacy Terms
When placing a pre-order:
- Your scheduled date/time is shared with the respective canteen
- Modifications or cancellations depend entirely on the Vendor
- The Vendor is responsible for preparing the pre-order on time
- NeuMind only communicates the necessary information—nothing more
NeuMind does not modify pre-order data or intervene in scheduling decisions.
6. Refund & Cancellation — Privacy Clarification
For transparency:
- NeuMind does not process cancellations or refunds.
- Any exception must be handled directly with the canteen.
- Only the data required to address such a request is shared with the Vendor.

7. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your session
- Analyse performance and traffic
- Enhance navigation and experience
You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.

- Provide Platform services
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations (including GST invoicing)
You may request account deletion at any time, provided no outstanding orders or settlements remain.

We use industry-standard security measures, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
- Restricted access to sensitive data
- Routine security and system audits
Although we take reasonable precautions, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.
